Company Secretaryship(CS) CSEET.

The Institute of Company Secretaries(CS) of India awards the certificate of bestowing the designation of Company Secretary(CS) to a candidate qualifying for the membership of the Institute.
The Company Secretary is:
• An in-house legal expert; a compliance officer of the Company.
• An expert in corporate laws, securities laws & capital market and corporate governance
• Chief advisor to the board of directors on best practices in corporate governance
• Responsible for all regulatory compliance of company
• Corporate planner and strategic manager.

Course SUMMARY

CSEET (CS Executive Entrance Test).
The student who would like to join the Course after 10+2 pass or equivalent must undergo three stages to pursue the Company Secretaries Course i.e.,
- CSEET (CS Executive Entrance Test)
- Executive Programme
- Professional Programme

Regulation 20(1)(ii) of the Company Secretaries (Amendment) Regulations, 2020 contains the provisions of CSEET. Passing of CS Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) is mandatory for all candidates to register for CS Executive Programme, except a few exempted categories of candidates.
LEVEL 1 - CSEET
- CSEET which has replaced CS Foundation program will be held now by ICSI four times a year in May, July, November, and January.

- Students who are appearing in or have passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) Examinations are eligible to appear in CSEET. Even students having higher qualifications (e.g., Graduates, Postgraduates) are also required to qualify the CSEET for taking registration in Executive Programme.

A candidate is declared to have passed the Foundation / Executive / Professional examination, if he/she secures at one sitting a minimum of 40% marks in each paper and 50% marks in the aggregate of all subjects.
